What you see is what you know'
Understanding the concept of identity, space, and mediums of identity, "Mirrorless" explores how what once served as a mere medium can evolve into a defining element of our identity. Typically, we look into a mirror to see ourselves, but what happens when that mirror no longer reflects our actions and becomes an independent entity?
Mirrorless is a real time interactive installation identity that reflects everything around it. Fed by realtime visuals captures by Kinect and using the movement of the viewer as well as of many before them and moves in a way that is no longer responding to the visitor. it filters the reflection through the available data, creating its own unique identity.
This initially acts as a mirror, but longer one engages with the 'mirror, the image of the individual gets trapped in the 'mirror' and starts to get an independent self that no longer responds to the view.
